We’re excited to host your elementary or middle school group and aim to provide a fun, safe, and memorable campus experience for all visitors. To help us do that, we kindly ask that you review the following guidelines before your visit.
- The ratio for a student-to-chaperone is 10:1.
- We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time and call the Community Outreach office to let us know you have arrived. A late arrival may result in a condensed tour or a cancellation of the tour.
- All members of the group, including chaperones, need to stay together at all times during the campus tour.
- Your group will have a tour guide for your campus tour, but all other activities, such as housing, dining/Roadrunner Cafe and/or other activities, will need to be traveled on your own.
- Group members need to keep their voices down inside academic buildings and remain respectful of the learning environment.
- Group members must stay respectful at all times toward each other, tour guide(s), university staff, students, other visitors and families. Disrespectful comments and/or actions are not permitted and may result in termination of your tour and we will not be able to host your group(s) again in the future.
- A minimum of 2 weeks' advance notice is required for ADA accommodation and/or any special request.
We appreciate your time and effort in coordinating the visit, and we look forward to welcoming you to UT San Antonio soon.
